The Classroom Teacher Educators’ Association (CTEA) was established in 2018 in Ankara and the work of areas are scope of education, culture and social issues. The aim of the association is to improve the quality of literacy education to promote reading and to encourage research in this area. In particular, it is to set collaboration among the classroom teachers, to conduct scientific research, to organize scientific activities that support the professional development of classroom teachers and to encourage such studies. In this context, the International Primary Teaching Education Symposium (IPTES) is being organized by our association since 2018.
